ABOUT SARA BRISEÑO GERRISH
Sara Briseño Gerrish has been licensed for 24 years and grew up in the real estate business. She is a second generation REALTOR® and earned her broker’s license in 2006. Sara attended St. Mary’s University where she received her BBA in Marketing and an MBA from Texas A&M San Antonio. She has served at the local, state and national level of the REALTOR® organization.
Sara served as the 2023 Chairman of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® and is currently a Regional Vice President of Texas REALTORS® and a board member for the National Association of REALTORS®. She was the 2024 Chairman of the Board for South Texas Business Partnership (formerly known as the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce), centennial board for the Junior League of San Antonio and serves as the Vice Chair of the City of San Antonio Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women.

I am honored to officially announce my candidacy for the 2027 Secretary/Treasurer position of Texas REALTORS®. With a deep-rooted passion for our profession and years of experience at every level of our organization, I am ready to serve and help guide our association into its next chapter.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving at the local, state, and national levels within the REALTOR® organization. In 2023, I proudly served as Chairman of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® and today I continue that service as a Regional Vice President for Texas REALTORS® and a board member of the National Association of REALTORS®. These experiences have sharpened my understanding of the strategic, financials and policy decisions that are critical to the role of Secretary/Treasurer.
As a second-generation REALTOR® with over 24 years in the industry, I’ve seen first hand how real estate changes lives. I’m passionate about helping families build generational wealth and equally committed to strengthening the foundation of our profession through service and leadership.
I will be a strong voice for REALTORS®, ensuring our interests are represented with integrity at the local, state and national levels. I am committed to promoting sound policy and protecting our ability to do business effectively.
I believe in the power of education and mentorship. By continuing to invest in world-class training, resources and leadership development, we can prepare our members for success in a dynamic marketplace.
Our association must not only adapt to change but lead it. I will support the exploration of smart technologies, forward-thinking practices and data-driven strategies that keep us on the leading edge of our industry.
